Plain Wisdom by Cindy Woodsmall and Miriam Flaud

The book Plain Wisdom by Cindy Woodsmall and Miriam Flaud is a great concept for a book but is lacking in cohesiveness. I really enjoyed reading parts of this book, but felt that parts of it were lacking. Each chapter has a different theme, and then 2 stories of everyday events to go along with it, one of which is from an Amish woman. It was really neat to read from an Amish woman's perspective different events that have taken place, this isn't something that you get to read everyday. It was also really neat that sprinkled throughout the book are recipes. Thanks to WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for providing me with an advance reading copy of this book.
